How We Got the Kiss 'o Fire
Proprietor Troy Meier is steeped in American roots music. That's where his journey began.
As a musician and aficionado of the form, T-Roy (his nom d'musique) became ensconced in the culture and lifestyle that surrounded the music he played and listened to. One of the main components of that culture is cuisine. He began as a backyard hobbyist trying to create the smoked delicacies that he remembered as a child and ate at music festivals. He found himself pretty darn good at it; and long story short: T-Roy became obsessed. That obsession led him to travel the country (but mostly the Southern US) in search of the best of the best of the best American cuisine... barbeque & soul food. His journeys took him from New Mexico to West Texas and the Mid-Texas Hill Country to the Cajun country of Louisiana to New Orleans to the Mississippi Delta region up to Memphis and Nashville, over to Georgia and the Carolinas, up to St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago and through the Ozarks and Pacific Northwest.
Now you can enjoy the fruits of that obsession!
One More Thing - We understand that great food is a requirement at our clients' events. Frankly, it's merely the price of entry into this game... And yes, we can line up lots of clients that are "crazy 'bout that Kiss 'o Fire." But we believe that while our 'cue needs to be the best, it's really the intangibles that make the difference and set us apart. Things like honoring your time, respecting your wishes, and treating you and your guests like you're our own guests. We believe in showing up on time, being prepared, clean and having a set of processes that ensure your event is bragged about for seasons to come! All we have is our reputation. We stake everything on what others say about us when the event is over. If your event succeeds, so do we! Bottom line, we want our clients to be happy to write us that check at the end of the day and will work to ensure that is the case for everyone, everytime.
In a nutshell:
We want you to be Crazy 'bout that Kiss 'o Fire! |
